Counselling World offers several courses for experienced qualified counsellors and those wanting to train for this profession.
All our courses are approved by CPCAB, which is generally considered to be the gold standard awarding body for counselling qualifications. It is the only Ofqual-approved awarding body to specialise in the field of counselling.

The courses offered
- Level 2 Counselling Skills – This course teaches the fundamental skills required of all counsellors and is the first step to becoming a qualified counsellor. It is also a good stand-alone course teaching helpful communication skills and self-awareness.
- Level 3 CPCAB Counselling Studies– continue on your journey to becoming a professional counsellor. In this course you will focus more on theories including psychodynamic, person-centred, CBT and gestalt.
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – This course qualifies you to work as a counsellor within an agency setting.
- Walk and Talk Therapy – This short course is for both qualified and training counsellors to learn how to work with clients while travelling through nature
